Down Payment Options when using Premium Finance with AndDone 

Understanding how the down payment will fund when quoting on the Payments Portal

When financing through AndDone, there are currently two options for how the merchant's down payment is handled.   Each option offers a different balance of convenience and control.  

All quoting completed on the Payments Portal will use the same down payment funding option.

Option 1: AndDone Sends the Down Payment to IPFS

With this option, AndDone sends the down payment directly to IPFS on the merchant's behalf.

- AndDone funds IPFS- then IPFS will fund based on the agreed upon process with             IPFS (*most commonly to fund the whole amount to the markets) 
                * The merchant receives commissions from the market after funding is complete.
- This approach requires fewer steps from the merchant.

What to expect- Because the process flows through IPFS and the market, it may take longer for the merchant to receive commissions.


Option 2: AndDone Funds the Down Payment directly to the Merchant

Alternatively, AndDone can send the down payment directly to the merchant.

- The merchant is responsible for sending the down payment to the market.
- The merchant can separate and retain commission before sending funds.
- This option gives the merchant more control over timing and payment handling.

What to expect- This approach may allow the merchant to access commission sooner, but it does require additional steps and responsibility from the merchant.

Please note- Option 1: AndDone Sends the Down Payment to IPFS  is traditionally the default.   If you would like to switch to Option 2- AndDone Funds the Down Payment directly to the Merchant please reach out to support@anddone.com
