Sub-Merchant Basics
Sub-merchants, in the context of AndDone, are brokers and agents within the insurance industry who use the AndDone portal. Utilizing the AndDone portal, sub-merchants can efficiently manage payments, process credit card and ACH transactions, and ensure that funds are securely transferred to their designated bank accounts.
Creating a Sub-Merchant Account
During the onboarding process, AndDone will set you up with a sub-merchant account. When we create a sub-merchant account in AndDone, we are creating a virtual account specifically designed for your agency. This virtual account serves multiple purposes, primarily enabling you to accept credit card and Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments both easily and seamlessly. The sub-merchant virtual account pays out to your preferred approved bank account for your pay-in-full transactions. Once payments are settled, funds will be automatically credited to your preferred bank account.
