This article will explain which reports you can get sent to your email and which notifications will be triggered.
Which reports generate email notifications when run?
If you are signed up to receive email notifications for reports, then you will receive an email when both Daily Authorization Reports and Daily Settlement Reports are generated. Read on below to learn how to set up email notifications for these reports.
How to enable reports to be sent to your email
Once you have logged into the Payments Portal (click here to log in), click on "Settings" within the left-side navigation bar and a drop-down menu will open.
Next, from the dropdown menu, click on "Notifications."
Within the notifications area, you will notice that two notifications are listed as "Report" under the "Event Type" column. These two notifications are "Payment Authorization" and "Payment Settlement." These two notifications will trigger and send an email to you whenever a Daily Authorization Report or a Daily Settlement report are generated. From the email in your inbox, you are able to download the generated report. To enable email notifications for the reports, click on "Emails:" under the column "Distribution List Count."
This will open up the notification details for the Payment Authorization notification. To add an email, click on the "Add Email" button.
After clicking on the "Add Email" button you may now add email(s) separated by line breaks, semi-colons (;), or commas (,).
When you have entered in the desired email(s), simply click on the new "Add Email" and you are done! These email addresses should now receive an email whenever a daily Authorization Report is generated. Users can now download these reports from their inbox via the link. Repeat the same process for the "Payment Settlement" notification to receive an email for generation of the Daily Settlement Report.
