This article will teach you about guided mode, pro mode, and how to navigate quoting using keyboard commands.
Accessing Create Quote View
Upon logging into the Merchant Portal (click here to reach the login page), you will be directed to the Payments Module. Simply click on "Financing" and then "Create Quote" on the left side menu bar in order to create a new premium financing quote.
Keyboard Commands
Within the Create Quote view, you will see a keyboard icon. By clicking on the keyboard icon you will bring up the keyboard commands for quote creation. By using these intuitive keyboard commands, its possible to create a quote quickly without lifting your hands from the keyboard.
Also within the Create Quote view, you will see a toggle on the top right-hand of the page. By clicking this toggle, you are able to switch between Guided and Pro-Mode.
Guided Mode vs Pro Mode
When creating a quote, the quote generation will default to Guided Mode.
Within Guided Mode you are able to move between sections of the quote, for instance, from Merchant Details to Insured Details, by clicking on the arrows at the bottom of the screen or by using the same keyboard commands.
In Pro Mode, the quote details will all show up in a continuous scrolling workflow that is easily and quickly navigated using keyboard commands.
At any point in time you have the ability to close your draft and resume at a later by simply clicking "Close and Save Draft," or cancel altogether without saving by clicking "Cancel."
Underwriting and Payment Link
Once the quote details have been entered, you will review the details within underwriting and have a chance to view the PFA. Lastly you will create a payment link by selecting a reference type, whether that's account number, invoice number, quote ID, or policy number. You will add the invoice number as well as a message for purpose of payment. Now, simply click "confirm details" to create your quote and payment link.
