Anytime Payments – Selecting Reference Type(s)
The Anytime Payments link can be tailored for your specific business needs to gather the exact information and payments details you want to collect.
To ensure your shoppers are entering the correct reference information, you can preselect what fields are available and required for them to fill out when they are completing their payment.
By customizing and narrowing down the available reference fields, you help your customers feel confident that they’re entering the right details when making a payment.
To customize the Reference Type, go to Settings and click on Anytime Payments Config.
Scroll down to Reference Type Display.
Select the box under Reference Type(s) to determine which fields you want to display as options on your Anytime Payments link.
At least one Reference Type is required.
You’ll notice that if you choose “Other” as an option, you can customize the naming convention of that field. This will determine the name of the “Other” field.
After you save changes, you can click “PREVIEW” to see the changes that have been made.
See our example below: We selected Account Number, Policy Number, and “Other= Policy Type” as the three options we wanted to provide on our Anytime Payments link.
